Did someone say Street Fighter? You want to play my Chun-Li with your Ryu? Come again? NIKE SB STEET FIGHTER EDITION SHOES!? That’s right! Coming this winter you’ll be able to get your hands on some Nike SB shoes inspired by the best gaming franchise on the planet.

Not only does this completely kick ass, but one of the shoes is based off of Chun-Li, one of my regular characters. Even though I don’t pick up Ryu very often I’ve got to get a pair of the Ryu-inspired SB mids as well. I’ve never been this excited for winter to come. I’ll deal with 5 feet of now if that means I can have these shoes without having to wait! Direct your eyes below for the photographic evidence.

I’m not one to keep an extra pair of shoes on ice, but I’m very tempted to double up on each of these. Being as excited as I am right now, does this solidify my shoe fetish, my street fighter fetish, or both?

Packed up and moving an entire room of my house down to Dallas for the Screwattack Gaming Convention this weekend. I’ll be DJing Saturday night, but I’m staying at the event hotel for the whole weekend. The only things left at my place are the 1200s, records, and the booth itself. Everything else is loaded up and coming with me. Pictures to come Sunday or Monday after the event is over and I reassemble the in-house booth. It’s always so easy to tear down and so tedious to set back up again.

Sorry for the lack of a mix this week, it’s planned and aiming to have it out on Monday. Cases for my gear won’t be in tomorrow so I’m hauling everything while it isn’t raining.
