It’s a little after 3 AM and I should probably be asleep right now. Why am I not asleep? I still have Flight Facilities new video on loop. Ever since the teaser hit YouTube back in April I’ve been patiently waiting to see the final product. Inspired by the music videos from Daft Punk’s discovery album as well as Astroboy and Mega Man, the music video for With You succeeds in being better than the song itself. Not often does a music video so good come along that listening to the song on its own doesn’t come close to the experience you get while watching the video.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Last night I saw Das Racist at The Where House in Fort Worth. As Das Racist was taking the stage they handed out apples, oranges, and bananas to people in the audience. I ended up with an orange and, after the show, caught up with Himanshu and Ashok and got them to sign it.

I’m headed down to SXSW in a few hours to catch the remaining festivities, but before I go I want to share this mix from The Phantom’s Revenge that I’ve been listening to a ton lately. Unbelievably awesome and refreshing. Enjoy the ride and content will resume on Monday.
